Who we are
The Reel Co (“we”, “us”) provides short-form video and social media management for local businesses in the Augusta, North Augusta and Aiken area. This policy covers this website (reel.metrix.build). The way to reach us about anything in it is the contact form on this site.
What we collect
Information you send us through the contact form. Your name, email address, brand or account name, the platforms you use, and what you are trying to achieve. Your phone number is optional; we only have it if you enter it.
Technical details sent with the form.When you submit the form we also record your IP address and your browser’s user-agent string. We use them to stop spam and abuse, including limiting how many messages one connection can send in a short time.
Site analytics. We use Metrix Analytics, an analytics script that is built not to use cookies and not to collect personally identifying information. It tells us in broad terms which pages are visited.
Chat assistant.Public pages include a chat assistant (“Riley”) provided by Automated Worx. It is an AI assistant, not a person. If you use it, what you type is sent to Automated Worx’s servers so the assistant can reply, and the conversation may be processed and stored there. Please do not put passwords, payment details or other sensitive information in the chat. You can use this site without the chat.
We do not run advertising trackers or build advertising audiences from this site.
Why we use it
- To read and reply to your inquiry and talk with you about our services.
- To keep the site and the form safe from spam and misuse.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is being used so we can improve it.
We do not use what you send us to make automated decisions about you, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your agreement.
Who sees it
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for third parties’ own marketing. It is handled by us and by the service providers we use to run the site: our hosting provider (Vercel), our database provider, the system that notifies our team of new inquiries, Metrix (which operates the site platform and analytics), and Automated Worx (the chat assistant). They process it only to provide those services. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry details for as long as it is useful to respond to you and to follow up on the conversation, and then delete them. If you become a client, we keep what we need to deliver and document the work. Tell us at any time that you want it removed, and we will.
Your choices
- You can ask what we hold about you.
- You can ask us to correct or delete it.
- You can decline to use the chat assistant, and you can use the site without entering any information.
To make a request, send a message through the contact form and say that it is a privacy request. We may need to confirm the request is really from you before acting on it.
Security
Data is sent over an encrypted connection and stored with providers that apply access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is meant for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, tell us through the contact form and we will delete it.

Our pages may link to other sites, such as social media accounts. Their privacy practices are their own.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. See also our Terms of Use.
